PROJECT INFORMATION
The COVID Pandemic made a significant impact in how small business owners viewed protocols for high-capacity social settings, particularly the process with gatherings in the wedding industry.
For this project, I was inspired and motivated by the frustrations and challenges that were presented not only for me as a business owner, but especially to the clients that I serve as they navigate through unchartered territory attempting to replan their wedding while in the midst of a global health crisis. This project was an opportunity for me to introspectively assess my business model, lean into hearing the experiences from clients through qualitative research, and ultimately utilize theories in experience and service design to ideate remedies to assist my clients in their journey through COVID planning.
With interviews, customer experience/journey maps, and creation of a prototype, I was able to understand future improvements in my business model largely inspired by the impact COVID had on small businesses, and the importance in dynamic service design models.
